As Adthena operates based on search terms, it's important the exact match type keyword is added to your Google Ads Brand Activator campaign. This ensures there's a higher chance of having a search term with associated costs available for calculating savings.
Providing the exact match is added, Brand Activator also supports both broad match and phrase match types but these match types do not need to be added to the Brand Activator campaign.
How it works:
- Brand Activator search term = 'adthena reviews'.
- Client's Google Ads account contains 3 ad groups:
- Exact match ad group, the keyword is [adthena reviews].
- Broad match ad group, the keyword is 'adthena reviews'.
- Phrase match ad group, the keyword is 'adthena reviews'.
- Google Ads Brand Activator campaign name = 'Brand'.
- Only Exact match ad group is added to the Brand Activator campaign.
