Every hour of every day, Adthena looks at 200 million search terms* and captures 500 million adverts
For any search term that Google tells us people are searching for, Adthena monitor it hourly each day (terms with few monthly searches per month are only looked at every few hours per day), on both Desktop and Mobile devices in thousands of different locations around each country, which is more than any other Competitive Intelligence tool.
By looking at the how the auction is changing multiple times per day, Adthena’s observed data for each search term is:
- 95% confident of a competitor’s frequency (used to calculate impressions)
- 99% confident of a competitor’s average position
The observed data is then processed and fed into our machine learning algorithms. These models are continually learning and improving based on the new data being collected. On a nightly basis the models estimate the average CTR and average CPC of every competitor seen on every search term in every position.
* this list is not static. It changes daily as Adthena looks for new search terms for every client
