Navigate to Competitor Dashboard
To view the Competitor Dashboard, go to the left-hand navigation menu, click on the Competitors tab, and select Competitor Dashboard from the dropdown menu. When you first open the Competitor Dashboard, it defaults to your own data. As a result, the Benchmarking section will show a 100% split across all metrics. To analyze a competitor, simply enter their domain into the filter box at the top of the page. This data is generated from all the search terms that we have seen the advertiser appearing on. The competitive analysis data reflects the previous week (Sunday to Saturday) and is refreshed every Sunday.
Competitors
The number of estimated competitors Adthena has seen the chosen advertiser compete with, across all of the search terms that we have seen the advertiser appearing on, in either Text Ads or PLAs.
Benchmarking
Compare your Impressions, Clicks and Spend
- Impressions - A percentage share based on the combined estimated impression count between you and the chosen competitor. This number is based on the estimated clicks multiplied by the estimated CPC, on either Text Ads or PLAs.
- Clicks - A percentage share based on the combined estimated click count between you and your chosen competitor. This number is calculated based on estimated impressions and estimated click through rate, on either Text Ads or PLAs.
- Spend - A percentage share based on the combined estimated spend between you and the chosen competitor. This number is based on the estimated clicks multiplied by the estimated CPC, on either Text Ads or PLAs.
Top Categories
The top ten categories, ranked by estimated impression share that Adthena has seen this competitor advertise in, on either Text Ads or PLAs. If there is less than 5% of search terms in the category then the category will not show. There could also be fewer categories if they are in a niche market.
Paid Vs Organic
The graph shows a daily breakdown of Paid versus Organic estimated impressions for the chosen advertiser. The data shown is a proportional relationship of estimated impression count between Paid and Organic data on either Text Ads, PLAs or Organic data. For data to show in this graph, the estimated impression count must be greater than 1%.
Clicks by Device
The ratio of estimated clicks between desktop and mobile for the chosen competitor, on either Text Ads or PLAs.
Search Term Overlap
The diagram shows the search term overlap between the chosen competitor and their top two competitors based on estimated impression share, on either Text Ads or PLAs.
Top Performing Keywords
The top ten keywords based on estimated clicks, on either Text Ads or PLAs.
Impression Share
This chart shows the relative impression share for the top ten competitors, on either Text Ads or PLAs. The percentage shown is estimated impression share for each competitor. The calculation accounts for both the frequency and volume of ad appearances, which can result in some competitors displaying an impression share exceeding 100%.

The top performing Text Adverts based on estimated impressions, on either Text Ads or PLAs.
Top 10 Most Common Ad Keywords
The top ten most common words used in the chosen competitor's ad messaging along with a count for each word, on either Text Ads or PLAs.
