Adthena does not replicate any actual AdWords data of yours or your competitor's campaign within our interface or via the API. Adthena is an independent, proprietary technology that creates a daily trend-based view built on observed data (Competitors, actual ad copy, keywords etc) and predicted (Trends, Share etc) big data sets. This means whilst we display estimates within the app these should not be treated as actuals, instead a guide on what we have monitored in your whole market view.
Building your Whole Market View is completely independent on using any kind of actuals like Clicks, CPCs and Impressions from AdWords accounts. Adthena monitors the SERP closer than anyone else in the industry thus presenting trend and share of competitors to help you leverage gaps, understand their strategy, and react quicker than any other solution on the market.
Predicting close to the actual performance of impressions, clicks and CTR activity is impossible. There are 2 key factors for this, firstly in order to build actuals Adthena would require access to every advertiser’s AdWords account in the auction, secondly Adthena would need to understand their actual bid strategies of every advertiser and ingest how they’re segmenting their bids, applying bid modifiers, factor quality score and determine re-marketing tactics. All of these factors fall outside the control of Adthena. Even if Adthena did have all the required data we would not share it amongst competitors.
Where Adthena continues to drive value for its clients globally is delivering a unique daily view of your Whole Market, for example to react to competitor strategies such market share %, trend, ad copy focus, gap analysis across Google’s 8K keyword categories, and hourly monitoring of partners, affiliates and competitors in the SERP.
