Local View
By combining our Whole Market View technology with geo-location targeting, Local View allows you to discover search term patterns and uncover key competitor strategies at a more granular level such as a State, City, Nielsen DMA or Custom Region. If you don't have access to Nielsen DMA data, we can confirm location availability.
Limitations:
- Search volume - A location must be available in Google Keyword Planner as this is the source for search volume data. If you don't have access to KWP, you can also check using Google Ads geo-target location, though this method isn't reliable as sometimes locations may not be available.
- Indexing - This is based on Google's Ad Reach and the fundamental unit of an index location is a city. A Local View must include a city with a non-0 ad reach for us to be able to index data. You can check location types on Wikipedia.
- Custom regions - Can only contain up to 10 individual locations. This is a Google restriction.
Not supported
- Zip Codes and Post Codes.
- Radius targeting.
- Municipalities and Neighborhoods**.
