Date Picker
This page is designed for period-over-period analysis by comparing two date ranges:
- Primary date range (dark blue): Filters all data displayed on the page.
- Comparison date range (light blue): Used to calculate percentage changes and display trend arrows.
Select date ranges by using the time frame options at the top of the page.
- Days: Select specific days or groups of days from the last 30 days.
- Weeks: Choose full weeks (Sunday–Saturday) from the past 13 months.
- Months: Pick individual months or groupings like quarters or years.
- Note: Both the primary and comparison ranges must be the same length to ensure accurate comparisons.
Filters
The data can be filtered by competitor groups or individual competitors, but it will only display information related to your brand—specifically, search term groups classified as "Brand" or individual search terms that include your brand name. Users can refine and personalize your data view by using Filters and Saved Filters, allowing you to include or exclude data by:
- Search term groups
- Individual search terms
- Competitor groups
- Specific competitors
Terms Coverage
Most Adthena reports let you filter data by Whole Market or My Terms:
- Whole Market: Includes all search terms where your brand has appeared, along with related terms where your competitors have appeared (paid or organic) in the past 30 days.
- My Terms: Shows only the search terms where your brand has appeared (paid or organic) in the past 30 days. Separate lists are provided for desktop and mobile.
Note: Only terms with a minimum monthly search volume are shown. This threshold varies by location.
My Brand Ownership
These four key metrics display your brand’s performance across desktop and mobile:
- Share of Clicks
- Share of Impressions
- Share of Spend
- Average Position
Click the 'Trends' link to view how each metric has changed over the selected time period.
Arrows and percentages next to each metric indicate the change between the primary and comparison date ranges. If no comparison data is available, the change will be shown as 'n/a'.
